Dry Ridge — Billy Louis Nichols, 83, of Dry Ridge, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at his home. He was born in Harrison Co., on October 31, 1942, to the late Isaac and Etna Alice Fryman Nichols.
He is also preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Jean Harney Nichols; second wife, Virginia Nichols; son, Billy Darryl Nichols; and a daughter, Kathy Lambert.
He is survived by sons, Steve (Sharon) Nichols, Greg (Cheryl) Nichols; daughter, Lisa (Javier) Nichols; brothers, Larry Nichols, Donnie Nichols and Clendon Nichols; sisters, Peggy Harney, Brenda Brewer, Sheryle Hoover; grandchildren, Brittany Lambert, Dylan Lambert, Kacy Harper, Jayden (Skyler) Gonzalez, Greyson Gonzalez, Kinsley Gonzalez, Ashley Messmer and Dustin Proffitt.
Billy had a love for John Deere and a passion for farming. He was a proud member of the Northern Kentucky Tug Pullers. Billy will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services were held Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Ware Funeral Home
Burial took place at Battle Grove Cemetery.
