Foster — Alma “Jackie” Gilbert, 79, of Foster passed away September 17, 2025, at her home.
She was born in Tennessee on January 23, 1946, daughter of the late Lonell and Millie Brown Lowery.
Jackie was the manager and caregiver at Frontgate, Sharps and Bennetts Nursing Homes.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Charles Gilbert Sr.; son, John Gilbert; brothers, Britt, Lionel, Frank Lowery; sisters, Helen Mastin, Patsy Gober, Joyce Durham and Eileen Lowery.
Surviving her are her sons, Fred, Bud, Rick, Tony, and David Gilbert; daughters, Patsy Lonaker, Linda Gilbert, Angie Stull, Cindy Wanstrath; brothers, Ted, Charlie, Dewey, and Butch Lowery; sisters, Ollie Whalen, Betty Wilson; 23 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Peoples Funeral Home in Butler.
Burial took place at the Lenoxburg Cemetery.
