Blanket Creek

Mark 14:61-62 takes place after the Lords Supper. Here He is asking His disciples to watch while He went to pray. Instead they fell asleep. Jesus knew what was coming for Him. He could have avoided it, but because of God’s love for us he died so us sinners could live. He is the Great I Am.

When is the last time you truly felt the Presence of God in your heart? Go to Him in prayer right now inviting Him in.

Remember those on our prayer list and the families of Gary Colvin and Dustin Zink.

Butler Christ Community

Greetings, friends. The scholarship presentation and dinner is the day we all look forward to. Our labors were given in November for this day and purpose. Our four recipients will be using their scholarships to meet their goals in college and service.

Thanks to all who helped us achieve this day.

On the 18th, we will be getting the church in order for the upcoming VBS July 20 to 23. All kiddos ages K-12 are invited.

On the 26 the children of the church will be in charge of the service.

There will be a youth meeting with William on July 31 for grades 7 to 12.

On Aug. 7, we will have a movie night to see “Miracle at Manchester.”

Please pray with us for our sick ones and rejoice with us for all our praises.

Have a wonderful week and remember that God loves you more.

Pleasant Ridge Baptist

Bro. Mark’s message was from 1 Corinthians 3:9-23.

“Are you a master builder?” We are only God’s co-workers. You are God’s building. Through his kindness has taught me how to be an expert builder.

He lays the foundation and we need to build on it. But he who builds must be very careful. There are different kinds of material you can use.

There is going to come a time of testing at judgment day, what kind of material each builder used. Everyone’s work will be put through fire so that all can see whether or not it keeps its value. God’s home is holy and clean, and you are that home.

Turner Ridge Baptist

From our Sunday school lesson, Jesus wants to meet you right where you are – in the middle of your mess and holding nothing back. Our Scripture was Luke 19:1-10. It shows us the personal transformation that occurred when Zacchaeus encountered Jesus. You too can have that transformation if you will look to Jesus.

During our morning worship service, Tori Florer read 1 Peter 1:18-19, then we heard from the leaders and youth that had attended Crossings Camp last week.

Bro. Dale then read Luke 24:25-27, he said we should know the bible is history, HIStory from beginning to end. Genesis tells how it began, and Revelations tells how we’ll enter eternity. Jesus came as the Lamb of God to die for our sins.

The ABC’s of Salvation is simple, ask someone today how to receive forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus Christ. Jesus died on the cross for all of us, but you have to decide to believe.
