Christmas coloring contest winners

  • After debating over the entries, the judges declared a penguin brightly colored by Evelyn Bachman, 7, of California, Kentucky, as their favorite. The young artist used markers, sticking primarily to a red and green palette, accented with orange and blue. For her effort, she wins the $25 first prize.

  • Second place was awarded to her sister, Lilian Bachman, 12, for a colorful pencil rendition of the Mary holding Baby Jesus. Lilian wins $10.

    Twenty-eight entries were submitted in the annual Falmouth Outlook Coloring Book kids’ coloring contest.
