Butler — James “Jim” A. Barnes, 80, of Butler, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025 in the home he built in the 70’s.
He married his loving wife, Janet Daulton Barnes December 10, 1966, and together they raised three children Greg (Marsha) Barnes, Cindy (Guy) Grogan and Sharon Hannah.
Jim was proud to have served in the United States Navy 1963 to 1966.
Entombment was held at Monday, January 5, 2026, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown, under full military honors.
