Foster — John Rapp, 82, of Foster, passed away at home on December 11, 2025. He was born on April 25, 1943, son of the late John and Verna Dawson Rapp.
John was the owner and operator JAR Transport and one of the co-founders of Licking Valley Antique Machinery.
In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his son, Kenny Rapp; brother, Gary Rapp; and great- grandchild, Alex Underwood.
John is survived by his daughter, Tami Vater; son, Greg Rapp; sister, Sarah Jane Rapp; granddaughter, Kyla (Tim Underwood) Vater; great-grandchildren, Cassie Callahan, Alexus and Sophia Underwood.
Services were held Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Peoples Funeral Home- Butler.
Burial took place at Concord Cemetery, Pendleton County.
