Falmouth — Ryan Christopher Hopkins, 47, known to most as “Stick,” of Falmouth, passed away September 22, 2025.
Born in Fort Thomas, Ryan lived with a grin on his face and a prank in his pocket.
Preceding him in death were his adoptive father, Joseph William Hopkins; and brothers, Bobby Claypool and Theron Hopkins.
Surviving him are his wife, Susan Raye Hopkins (née Burton); adoptive mother, Jacqueline (Phillip) McMurrin; children, Brittany (Chris) Speier, Daniel (Felicia) Burton, Heather (Donnie) White, Troy (Grace) Florence, Kayleana Florence, and Trent Hopkins; siblings, Melissa (David) Cooney, Debora (Jeff) McGlothin, Tessa Lemons, Tiffany Hopkins; and eight grandchildren.
Stick attended Trinity Baptist Church, in Falmouth and Concord Methodist Church in Brooksville, and was a member of the Pendleton County Sportsman Club. He worked as an operator/driver for L&W Supply, where his reliability and steady humor were a daily gift to coworkers and friends.
As Proverbs 17:22 reminds us, “A cheerful heart is good medicine.” Stick carried that medicine with him, and he shared it freely.
A celebration of life was held Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Concord Methodist Church.
