The Pendleton County Ladycats scored back to back wins last week while at home.
On September 6 against Holmes the team came away with a 3-0 shutoutwin. Junior Aubrey Record not only recorded five saves as goalie, she also scored a goal. Junior Aubrey Mullins and senior Lilly Ashcraft also got into the scoring column for the Ladycats.
On September 10, Pendleton County blanked Bellevue 6-0 making for a great senior night honoring their only senior on the team, Lilly Ashcraft.
She would make the most of the occasion as she netted four goals on the night to now give her eight on the season. Freshmen Josie Hahn and Adilyn Wolfe scored their first careervarsity goals.
Team head coach Johnny Trenkamp was very excited to have a full and healthy team on the field, along with the teamwork that was displayed on the offense on the pitch. The defensive line held their own in this game and showed good strength.
This week, the Ladycats will host Grant County on September 15 and Villa Madonna on September 17 in the home finale. Both games begin at 7:30 p.m.
