PCHS gymnasium floor undergoes major renovation

The gymnasium floor at Pendleton County High School received a long-awaited makeover that students, parents, athletes and administration can enjoy before the start of the 2025-26 school year in August. According to PCHS Athletic Director Jon Wirth, this was the first significant overhaul the floor had received in over 15 years. " Cincinnati Floor Co. subcontracted the work to Ledford Sports Floors out of Oklahoma. The volleyball sleeves were moved back to the half court line prior to the floor being done.  The floor was completely sanded down and a new floor design was completed. This marks the first time anything had been done to the floor since 2007 or 2008 when the floor was completely ripped up," Wirth said.

New additions include the 10th Region logo just inside of both free throw lines plus an outlined shape of Pendleton County with the initials 'PC' at mid-court.
