Demossville — John Gilbert, 55, of Demosville, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital on May 1, 2025.
He was born in Florence, on December 7, 1969, son of the late Soloman Gilbert, the late Eileen Lowery, the late Charles Gilbert and Jackie (Lowery) Gilbert, who survives.
Precedin him in death, in addition to parents, is his son, Christphor Gilbert.
Surviving him, in addition to one parent, are his sons, Jason, Dustin, Joshua Gilbert; brothers, Fred, Bud, Rick, Tony, David, Bob, Earnest Gilbert; sisters, Cindy Wanstrath, Tammy Gilbert, Patsy Lonaker, Linda Gilbert, Angie Stullp; grandchildren, Emma Rose Gilbert, Brandon Lee Emerson; and best friends, Lonnie and Steve Wanstrath.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Peoples Funeral Home, in Butler. Funeral service will immediatly follow, also at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Lenoxburg Cemetery.
Memorials, if desired, can be made out to Cindy Wanstrath to be given to Emma on her 18th Birthday.
