Butler — Benny A. Combs, 70, of Butler, passed away at his home, May 3, 2025.
He was born in Demosville, December 20, 1954, son of the late Hargis and Oma Sandlin Combs. Benny’s greatest passion was drag racing with the original Comb’s Brother racing team. He loved golfing, camping, and creating cherished memories with his family, especially his beloved grandkids. He accepted God and enjoyed worshipping with the Bridge Church, in Alexandria from the comfort of his home.
Preceding him in death, in addition to parents, are his brothers, James, Charlie, Robert, Wilton, Hensley, Roy, Eddie, Timmy Combs; sisters, Margaret Scott, Mima Moore and Necia Combs.
Surviving him are his wife, Barbara Hunt Combs; sons, Benny J. (Misty) Combs, Phil (Amie) Combs, David A. (Angie) Combs, Wade (Samantha) Hall Jr.; daughters, Nikki L. (Jeremey) Deming, Ashley M. (Brett) Hall; sisters, Wilma Hicks, Lucy Schuler; grandchildren, Ashlyn, Kaylin, Lil’ Phil, Zach, Makayla, Mylee, Mckynlee, Kodey, Wade, Jackson; and his Fur baby, Bentley.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m., at Peoples Funeral Home, in Butler. Funeral service will immeditaly follow, also at the funeral home.
A celebration of life will take place at Flour Creek Church multipurpose building, 1109 Hwy 177, Butler, KY, after the service.
