Butler — Martha Ellen Wafford, 78, of Butler, passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, February 13, 2025.
Martha was born on May 28,1946, daughter of the late Albert & Erma Wolfe Jenkins. Martha was a member of Turner Ridge Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher, a choir member and an active WMU member. She was dedicated to her job while working at both Griffin Industries and Fuller Manufacturing. What she held dear was her family.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her siblings, Norma Boyers, Kenneth Jenkins, Doris Lovelace and Ardella Osborn.
Surviving her are her husband, of 59 years, Roger; daughter, Sheila (Roger) McElfresh; son, Jeremy Wafford; grandchildren, Steven (Jessica) McElfresh, Kevin (Kaitlyn) McElfresh, Mya and Emery Wafford.
Services were held Monday, February 17, at Peoples Funeral home, in Butler.
Burial took place at Turner Ridge Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Turner Ridge Building Fund.
