Falmouth's Annual Christmas Festivities

Harley, a 14-year-old boxer/golden retriever mix, wears a festive hat. Owner Abby Fletcher of Falmouth said Harley will wear any outfit if you tell her she looks pretty.
The Southern Elementary School fourth- and fifth-grade choir were among the performers to take to the stage on Shelby Street before and after the parade.
Since the sun had set by parade time, the colorfully festive lights adorning parade vehicles shown brightly.
After the parade, Santa and Mrs. Claus met with youngsters at the Falmouth Fire Department on Main Street.
A number of festival-goers posted for photos with the Christmas tree near the corner of Shelby and Main streets.
Youngsters scrambled to pick up candy before the next parade entries pass by tossing more sweet treats to the crowd. The next Pendleton County Christmas parade is 6 p.m. Saturday in downtown Butler.
