FALMOUTH — Chad Simms, who recently returned to Pendleton County High School as assistant principal, is now serving as head principal at PCHS following Tony Dietrich’s retirement in July.
Simms, who holds a Rank 1 in leadership with a superintendent certificate from Northern Kentucky University, said he wants “to serve the students and staff here at PCHS. I want to ensure that every student is transition-ready for life after high school.
“I aim to provide our students with as many opportunities as we can to equip them to make informed career and life decisions before they graduate.
“Additionally, I want to support and serve my staff in a way that empowers them to be the very best they can be for our students each and every day,” Simms said.
He is married to Melody, and the couple has two children — one, a freshman at UC, and the other a freshman at Simon Kenton.
When he is not working, Simms said he enjoys spending time with his family and working out.
