In 2021, they expressed a desire to find a local owner for the 125-year-old Pendleton County paper.  The Belchers took ownership on January 1, 2022.

By Carolyn Reid     For the past seven years, Neil Belcher has been known and respected around Pendleton County as the publisher of the Falmouth Outlook, working for Delphos Herald, Inc., the paper’s owner that is located in Delphos, Ohio.

Wool Fest return is anything but sheepish

First African American spelling bee champ breezes to win

By BEN NUCKOLS Associated Press LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (AP) — Whether dribbling a basketball or identifying obscure Latin or Greek roots, Zaila Avant-garde doesn't show much stress. Now she has become the first African American winner in the 96-year history of the Scripps National Spelling Bee.

Ky voter registration begins to stabilize

    Secretary of State Michael Adams announced that Kentucky’s voter registration numbers have begun to stabilize. After several consecutive months of more voters being removed from the voter rolls than added, in April Kentucky saw a net gain of 82 voters.
