By Carolyn Reid Wednesday’s meeting of the Pendleton County Republican Party was crashed by some 30 members of the community who had never attended or had minimally attended their meetings, committee treasurer Josh Plummer said.

PCHS grad makes music with the stars

By Nila Harris If you caught “The Today Show” on Dec. 14, chances are the fiddle player looked familiar. Brandon Godman, Pendleton County High School Class of 2005, accompanied country music star Jon Pardi on the NBC telecast. Godman is no stranger to performing in the limelight.

By Carolyn Reid and Burton Cole A fire Monday morning at the corner of Fourth and Broad Streets in Falmouth reduced a house to ashes and brought in three fire departments to help control the blaze. It was the second home destroyed by fire in less than a week. Noble Gabbard Jr.

Attorney C. Donald Wells recognized as the PC Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for January 2024

C. Donald Wells, well-known attorney in Falmouth, was recognized as having the business of the month for January 2024.  Wells has served the county, by his count, "...for about 51 years." In that time, he has served twice as Pendleton County Attorney, adding up to 20 years of service.
