Reverend Cohen Copley was named Outstanding Citizen of the Year by the City of Falmouth during the Fourth of July festivities held in the downtown area after the annual parade.

Amy Razor, former assistant superintendent for Pendleton County Schools, was named the 2015 Kentucky School Administrator of the Year for district-level administrators.

During the great news portion of the July 13 Pendleton County School Board meeting Hanna Watkins, Austin Hofstetter and Elicia Pennington were congratulated for their achievement GED (general equivalency degree) graduates.

Siblings Barbara Bug and Lee Sheene realized their dream of owning a store full of eclectic antiques and unusual finds when the doors of The Treasure Store opened on June 1 of this year.

The production of The Addams Family, this summer season's new musical comedy at Kincaid Regional Theater (KRT), hits it big! Over the years KRT has had any number of outstanding shows. This year however, marks a new direction showcasing a more modern show which first opened on Broadway in 2010 and ran for over a year.
