Winter weather wasted no time coming to Pendleton County this year. Now let’s see if  retired weather man Lonnie Gregg could be right again this year with the first measurable snow fall being on November 17. He says there will be 17 total for this winter.

Members of the 2014-15 Sophomore Youth Leadership Initiative Program represented Pendleton County High School at the Annual Anthony Munoz Foundation Youth Leadership Seminar this year.

Students participating in the 2014-15 Pendleton County High School Sophomore Youth Leadership Initiative Program recently visited our local extension office for “Ag Leadership Day.” This was an after-school event planned by 4-H agent Shelley Meyer, who sits on the Leadership Initiative Advisory Board.

Before the Veterans Day celebration in the Pendleton County High School auditorium a reception was held for the Pendleton County veterans in the library.

Pendleton County Judge/Executive Henry Bertram presented Vietnam veteran Ronnie Meyers with a Kentucky Colonel Commission.
