P.C. Youth Football beats Grant County 12-6

The Pendleton County Wildcat Powerhouse team has completed another successful road trip against a hard fighting Grant County team. The Wildcats were put to the test of what will most likely be a preview of the upcoming Superbowl Sunday, November 3. It was a hard fought defensive battle all day, sending the game into overtime after being knotted up 6-6 at the end of regulation.

Wildcats fall to Boone Co., sustain more injuries

The Wildcats soccer team took on its toughest opponent to date last Thursday, dropping a closely contested game to the Boone County Rebels, who came in as the 10th ranked club in the state.

P.C. Youth Football travels to Gallatin County

The Pendleton County Wildcat Midget team had an absolutely awesome offensive game, scoring a season high 19 points. The Wildcat offense and defense was led by Player of the Week, Nathan Utz.  This is Nathan’s first year of football and this week he was our outstanding defensive player of the game. Nathan had six unassisted tackles, two sacks on the quarterback, and two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. Nathan helped on offense with outstanding blocking. Two out of three touchdowns were scored on Nathan’s side of the ball.

Cross Country holds PC Invitational

The Wildcat Cross Country team is off in their home meet, Pendleton County Cross Country Invite at Sharp MS. From left: Dakota Crouch, Kenton Hornbeck, Walker Lea, Montgomery Franxman, Morgan Bay, Caleb Vanorio and Josh Brown.

Over 300 athletes from all corners of Northern Kentucky in eight different divisions competed on Saturday morning in the Pendleton County Invitational, held at Sharp Middle School. PCHS and Sharp Middle School had athletes compete in five of the divisions, and fared well in the contest.

Wildcats fall to Newport, record now 2-3

On a gorgeous Friday night, the Wildcats hosted their second of three consecutive home games; this time against a Newport team with the same moniker.

The game began slowly as both teams found it difficult to move the ball. However, in the end, a larger and deeper Newport prevailed with a 21-6 victory over the home standing Wildcats.

Physicals required for basketball and bowling tryouts Print E-mail

Tryouts for both girls and boys basketball and bowling will be held during the month of October. To be eligible for tryouts, a student-athlete must have a physical on a KHSAA-approved physical form.

That form can be accessed in one of the four locations: 1) front office of either Sharp Middle School or PCHS, 2) on the counter of the Athletic Department located in the Griffin Fitness Center, 3) downloaded from the P.C. Athletics webpage at http://pendleton.kyschools.us/athleticForms.aspx?form=ath; or 4) downloaded from the KHSAA website www.khsaa.org.
