Falmouth High School Class of 1964 Reunion, August 22 Print E-mail

The Falmouth High School Class of 1964 will be celebrating their 50th reunion on Friday, August 22 at the Harden Browning American Legion Post 109 in Falmouth. Festivities begin at 4 p.m. and cost of the dinner if eating is $25 per person. Classmates from first grade to grade 12 are encouraged to attend and have a good time.

Life is so short and it has been a very long time since everybody has seen each other - come out and reminisce about the “good old days.”

 
Annual Tractor and Machinery Exhibit, August 15-16 Print E-mail

Ancient Iron of Northern KY invites the public to their 7th annual tractor and machinery exhibit.

This event will happen on Friday, August 15 and Saturday, 16 at the Pendleton County Fairgrounds on U.S. 27 in Falmouth.

Set up will begin at 3 p.m. on Friday and on Saturday the events will take place for the public to view. There will be antique machinery demonstrations, 9 a.m. to dark tractor and truck exhibit, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. kids games 8-10 a.m. tractor pull weigh in starts, 12 noon tractor parade, 10 a.m. tractor dead weight pull starts (Classes 3500-6000 lbs. and 6000 to 9000 lbs.).

The Outlook travels to Fripp Island, S.C. Print E-mail

The Falmouth Outlook traveled to Fripp Island, South Carolina with the Jack and Cindy Wright Family the week of July 19 - July 26. Fripp Island is 15 miles from Parris Island where son Lincoln is stationed with the United States Marine Corps. The Jones, Marrs and Miller families are also pictured above.

 
The Outlook travels to Sugarcreek Amish Country Print E-mail

The Falmouth Outlook traveled to the Amish Country in Sugarcreek, Ohio with Brenda Christian and husband Mark for vacation over the Memorial Day weekend. Highlights of the trip included the local food and a horse-drawn, open wagon ride through Rolling Ridge Ranch, an 80-acre park that contains 500 animals and birds and over 100 species from around the world. “It was a great trip,” said Brenda. “Sugarcreek is like being in a different time and place.” Pictured above: Brenda Christian is shown holding The Outlook in front of the Alpine Hills Museum and Sugarcreek Information Center.
