Roundup Time for Isaac & Friends Print E-mail

It's roundup time for Isaac & friends! Come on out to the second annual benefit on Saturday, May 11 at Bill and Eva Thompson's house, 11303 Hwy 330 West, Berry, KY 41003. Registration begins at 8 a.m.

It will be a fun-filled day with a hay ride, horse ride, wagons and buggies, auction, live country and bluegrass music, food, and camping.

The cost is $10 per person/$10 per buggy. Donations will also be accepted.

All proceeds benefit: Isaac (muscle disorder), Rilley (cystic fibrosis), Austin (Hodgkins lymphoma) and Curtis (Hurlers Syndrome).

Cutest Pet Contest for Relay for Life Print E-mail

Is your pet adorable? Why not enter him or her in the Cutest Pet Contest and support Relay For Life. It is easy and you could be the winner! Just think of the prestige of being the official 2013 cutest pet!

Submit a photo of your pet along with a $5 donation to the American Cancer Society to be delivered no later than Saturday, June 15, 2013. Mail your entry to Linda Rees, Relay For Life, 6694 Ky. Hwy. 17 North, DeMossville, KY 41033.  Proceeds raised will go to Relay For Life to support the American Cancer Society.  Checks should be made out to the American Cancer Society. The American Cancer Society touches so many people on any given day because dedicated volunteers and supporters are committed to making a difference in the fight against cancer - every   day! You can help by entering your pet in this contest.

Winners will be notified by Thursday, June 20, 2013. Selections of the judges will be final. Winning photos will be featured on the Celebrate Birthdays Team Relay For Life website, on Facebook, in the newspaper, in Linda Rees’ real estate newsletter and at the Relay For Life event on Friday, June 21 and Saturday, June 22 at the Pendleton County Fairgrounds.

 
PTO Quarter Auction ~ May 9 Print E-mail

There will be a PTO Quarter Auction at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 9 at Northern Elementary. Doors open at 6 p.m. All proceeds benefit Relay for Life.

Vendors include Thirty-one, Longaberger, Scentsy Candle, Absolute Salon & Spa, May Kay, Pink Zebra, Tupperware, Tastefully Simple, Pampered Chef, Scrapbooks by D&M, Designer Book Creations, Mary's Menagerie, Bunnies-N-Such, With Love by Lori Jewelry, Avon and more!

Relay teams will also have baskets in the auction.

Relay For Life Co-Ed Softball Tournament to be held Sat., May 18

The second annual Relay for Life Co-Ed Softball Tournament will be held Saturday, May 18 at the Athletic Park, located behind McDonald's, in Falmouth.

The entry fee is $150 per team. The deadline to register is Wednesday, May 15.

Relay for Life Trail Ride cancelled Print E-mail

The Relay for Life Trail Ride, due to reasons beyond control, has been cancelled for this year. The ride has contributed a lot these past few years to Relay for Life. Thanks to everyone that has helped and participated. The trail  ride will be back next year so don't give up on it! Your support is appreciated and needed to help the fight against cancer. The trail ride will be better prepared next year for this not to happen again. Hope to see you in 2014!
