There will be a benefit for Tammy Clos Stewart, who has been diagnosed with cancer, on Saturday, May 18, at the St. Frances Xavier Church Hall, 202 Second Street, Falmouth. It will start at 6 p.m.

There will be great food, lots of raffle items and a silent auction. A door prize will be given to one lucky winner.

The meal will be served at 7 p.m. and will include hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad cupcakes and a drink.

The cost of admission is $10 single or $15 couple. Ten and under get in free. Food items can be purchased separately for those under ten.

Come join us to help raise money for Tammy and her medical bills. If you are unable to attend and wish to help, you may make a monetary donation at US Bank in Falmouth.

The Pendleton County Public Library is having their first book sale at the new location, 801 Robbins Avenue.

They have lots of great books, movies on VHS, and more for sale!  Prices will range from 50¢ to $1. So stop by, check out the new library, and see what’s available!

The hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
