Register for Youth Fast Pitch Print E-mail

Logan Cooper (back) peeks around Emma Whalen (front) from first base in the first season of youth fast pitch last year.  Registration is going on right now for the Ladycat Youth Fast Pitch leagues.

In 2013, Pendleton Recreation formed a Ladycat Youth Fast Pitch League to give young girls the option to learn the game of fast pitch that is played at the high school and collegiate level.  Registration for the 2014 Spring leagues is ongoing right now and forms can be obtained at and click on Recreation/Sports or at the Pendleton Recreation Office at Griffin Fitness Center located at PCHS from 5-9 p.m.

Forms were also sent home with all elementary age girls at the elementary schools in the last week of February as well as distributed to those interested at Sharp Middle School.

The league consisted of a girl’s only T-ball division and a Coach Pitch division. If numbers are consistent with last year or grow, the league may be able to expand to a kids’ pitch division.

Get your form in today and make sure your daughter is part of this growing program.
