PCEF Golf Scramble to be held Print E-mail

The Pendleton County Education Foundation will have its 20th annual golf scramble at Pendleton Country Club on Tuesday, August 5. It’s not too early for you to make plans to participate in this event.

Piles Chevrolet, Olds, Buick Inc. of Williamstown will again sponsor a hole-in-one contest. Local businesses or individuals will sponsor contests for men’s longest drive, women’s longest drive, longest made putt, and three closest to the pin. In addition, the top three scoring teams will receive prize money of $400, $300, and $200.

PCEF is a private, non-profit organization whose main purpose is to provide scholarships to graduating Pendleton County seniors. PCEF also helps fund the character education programs of the four county schools and other special events.

The golf scramble is PCEF’s only fundraiser so your support of this event is important and greatly appreciated. Cost of the scramble is $60 per player.

For further details you may call Dennis Seever at 859-654-6011.
