The folks at Neave United Methodist Church cordially invite you to attend the annual Homecoming event on Sunday, May 25, 2014.
Sunday School begins at 10 a.m. and worship service at 11 a.m. A potluck meal will be served at 12 noon in the basement of the church.
The program this year will dedicate the remodeling of the church basement and elevator in memory of Bertha Teegarden Wiglesworth.
After lunch Adarin Williams and others will bless us with music. Come celebrate and remember.
Christ-followers in Pendleton County are meeting at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, April 10, to discuss what it means to be His church: how we can love one another from His abundance of perfect love, how we can grow together into His likeness, and how we can best spread the good news of the Kingdom to our neighbors.
Before the meeting, they will be praying through and meditating on Luke 10:1-11, as well as the following definition of “church”:
“[Church is] the presence of Jesus among His people, [who are being] called out as a spiritual family to pursue His mission on this planet.” - Neil Cole (see http://www.cmaresources.org/organic-church-definition)
If you’re interested to participate in this time of prayer, fellowship, and strategic discussion, please contact Jeff at email@example.com or phone him at 859-444-2671 for details on the meeting location, which is still being determined.
