Festival Committee to serve breakfast Print E-mail

Please come and join the Falmouth Festival Committee for breakfast at Edwardo’s on Saturday, March 1.

Again, they will serve the homemade biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, cereal, fruit, your beverage plus juice is included in the price of $8 per adult, $5 for children eight and under.

All proceeds go toward Fourth of July festivities. Again, ten free tickets for all adults.

Breakfast will be served from 7 - 11 a.m.


Butler to host St. Patrick's Day Dance & Chili Cook-off Print E-mail

Time to celebrate the end of winter!

The city of Butler is having a St. Patrick's Day Dance & Chili Cook-off from 7 - 11 p.m. on March 15, 2014 at the Community Center.

Cook-off contestants must be registered by March 12, 2014.  All chili must be homemade with a list of ingredients. Please bring it in your own crock pot with a ladle.  For more information call 859-609-9639 or 859-472-5015.

Admission to the event in $5 for singles and $8 per couple.  Chili cook-off entry fee is $15.

You can go under or you can go on.” In the case of Phyllis Kelsch, she has chosen to get better and to go on, despite the troubles life has given her. Phyllis has lived a lifetime of giving, as a teacher at Northern Elementary and as an assistant principal at Phillip Sharp Middle School, as a wife and a mother and as a grandmother.
