Wesley Chapel Memorial Fund Benefit Print E-mail

There will be a benefit for the Wesley Chapel Church Memorial Fund from 7-11 p.m. on Saturday, April 5 at the Alexandria Community Center, located at 8236 West Main Street, Alexandria, Ky.

Music will be provided by Diamond Head Mountain beginning at 7:30 p.m.

There will also be raffles, snacks, drinks, etc.

During the program, a free will offering will be taken. If you would like to write a check, which is tax deductible, please make it out to “Wesley Chapel Church Memorial Fund.”

109 Board spring clean-up Print E-mail

This year, the Pendleton County Spring Clean-up will be from March 28 until May 11. Registration began at 9 a.m. on March 22. Sign-ups will be taken by phone calls only. No walk-ins.

Permission slips will be needed for children between the ages of eight to 17 and can be obtained from the solid waste coordinator.

Groups must be non-profit and reside in Pendleton County.

Northern Elementary kindergarten registration Print E-mail

The Northern Elementary kindergarten registration for the 2014-15 school year will be from 6 p.m., to 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 25 in Media Center.

Registration documents include: birth certificate, Social Security card, KY Immunization Record, physical, eye exam, dental screening, and proof of residency.

Children who are five years of age on or prior to October 1, 2014 are eligible for kindergarten.

Proof of residency is required at the time of enrollment. Please bring any of the following:  housing contract, rental agreement, property tax bill, vehicle registration showing address, utility bill or any other bill, or a cancelled check in the current that shows current address.

The required documents must be on file before the first day of school.

Necessary forms may be picked up at registration.

Festival Committee to serve breakfast Print E-mail

For all who have been asking, the Falmouth Festival Committee will be serving their next breakfast starting at 7:30 a.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Edwardo's Pizza & Subs. A few brunch items will be included as well.

There will also be an Easter basket raffle. Chances will cost $5 and the basket will include a pizza tower from Edwardo's which alone is worth $75. The drawing will be held immediately after the meal.

Cost remains the same at $8 per adult, $5 children eight years and younger.

The Falmouth Festival Committee thanks you in advance for your support and a special thanks goes out to Eric Love for his generosity.

PHS Site-Based Council election Print E-mail

Pendleton High School PTSO will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 to elect two (2) parent representatives for the 2014-2015 Site-Based Council.  The deadline for returning nominations is the close of the school day Monday, April 7, 2014.

Voting will take place Tuesday, April 8, from 3 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium lobby.  If subsequent rounds of voting are necessary, voters must be present to vote in these subsequent rounds.

Information packets, including the nomination form, may be picked up in the office of Pendleton High School or accessed on the high school web page www.pendleton.kyschools.us.
