FHS Alumni Reunion, Aug. 23 Print E-mail

It’s not too late to make your reservations to attend this year’s Falmouth High School Alumni Reunion. Alumni will be meeting on Saturday, August 23 at the St. Xavier Hall in Falmouth. Doors open at 3 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.

If you have misplaced your reservation form or need a new one, please call Brenda at 937-444-2662 or Veronica at 859-654-8349.

All former classmates, teachers and friends of FHS are invited and welcome to take part. Spread the word, tell your friends and family. Make your plans now to attend!

Pride of Pendleton County Photo Contest Print E-mail

The Pendleton County Public Library is holding “The Pride of Pendleton County” Photo Contest. All ages are welcome to participate. Photos must have been taken in Pendleton County to qualify. Submissions must be given as a printed 8 x 10 hard copy (no digital files will be accepted), and only one photograph per person, per category will be permitted. The categories are: Scenic, Pets & Wildlife, Architecture, and People. Photographers are required to fill out an entry form, and entries will be received from August 1 - September 5 at noon. Judging will take place the following week and there will be a reception to award prizes to the winners. For further information, contact Kelly at 859-654-8535.

Falmouth Adult Education begins Print E-mail

The Pendleton County Adult Learning Center is now offering classes for the fall. If you are an adult returning to college, wanting to increase your basic skills in reading or math, or interested in GED classes, this is a great opportunity for you.

Required registration opens Monday, August 4 - Wednesday, August 6 and classes will begin Monday, August 18.

Butler GED classes starting Print E-mail

Pendleton County Adult Learning Center is happy to announce upcoming GED classes beginning in Butler.  Classes will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Tuesdays in the Butler City Building.

Required registration opens Monday, August 4 - Wednesday, August 6 and classes will begin Tuesday, August 19.
