Charles Willard Williams, 71 Print E-mail

Charles Willard Williams, 71, of Cynthiana, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

He was born in Harrison County, April 7, 1941 to the late Charlie and Christine Ecklar Williams. Charles was a retired maintenance supervisor, a member of Sunrise Christian Church and was in his second term as a District 8 Constable.

Surviving are wife, Anna McCauley Williams; son, Charles Willard (Sherri) Williams Jr., Cynthiana; daughter, Dianna Williams (Jeff) Ray, Georgetown; a sister, Wanda Williams Fowee, Falmouth; grandchildren, Amber Curran, Kaitlin Williams, Kyler Williams; and a great-grandson, Braydon Rice.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2013 with funeral services at  11 a.m., Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Ware Funeral Home, Cynthiana. Bro. Clifford Neat will be offiating.

Serving as pallbearers, Gregg Barnes, Tom Dunn, Charles Rogen Clifford, Scott Clifford, Harold Adams, David King and Andy Barnes and honorary pallbearers,  Tommy Banfield, Joe Banfield, Kenneth Wright, Nathan Marsh, Bob Delano, Wayne Eason, Mark Baker, Jimmy Wilson, Marlene Wilson and L.T. Williams.

Interment will take place at  Battle Grove Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1504 College Way, Lexington, KY 40502.

Patrick Tony “Jack” Askin, 49, of Mayslick, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, at his residence.

Surviving are mother, Noretta Youngman Askin; sons, Danny (Amanda) Askin, Berry and Chris Bishop, Lexington; and daughter, Emma Askin, Berry.

Jaiden Giovanni Watkins, infant Print E-mail

Jaiden Giovanni Watkins,  two months old, of Falmouth,  passed away on February 21, 2013 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood.

Surviving are parents, Dave Watkins and Tina Nelson, both of  Cincinnati.

Visitation and funeral services  will be held from 1-2 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Peoples Funeral Home, Butler.

Interment will take place at the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.

Alma Louise Cordray, 87 Print E-mail

Alma Louise Cordray, 87, of Falmouth passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 at the River Valley Funeral Home in Butler.

She was born in Flags Spring on July 13, 1925, to the late John and Frances Pribble Burlew and a member of the Oakland Christian Church.

Preceding her in death, in addition to parents, were, husband, Charles Cordray; and brothers, Roy "Judy" Burlew, Paul "Corky" Burlew.

Surviving are sons, Barry (Susan) Cordray, Falmouth,  Garry (Loretta) Cordray, Alexandria; daughter, Pam (Stephen) Harper, Falmouth; grandchildren, Scott, Trent and Aaron Harper, Jared Cordray, Marla Lemmon, Jenna, Timothy and Mark Cordray; great-grandchildren, Aven, Conner and Cailyn Harper, Cayden Cordray, Skyler Bowen, Emma Cordray, Dominic Enzweiler, Matthew, Alexander, Meredith and Taryn Harper.

Funeral services were held Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Peoples Funeral Home, Falmouth.

Interment took place at the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.

Eurilla Nell "Billie" Pribble, 85 Print E-mail

Eurilla Nell "Billie" Pribble, 85, of Butler, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013, at the River Valley Nursing Home in Butler.

She was born in  Pendleton County, on March 12, 1927, to the late Willard Henry and Mary Wright Byrd and a graduate of Morgan High School. Billie married Elmo Pribble in 1945, and her dear husband preceded her in death on May 19, 1997.  She was a homemaker, a former employee of Hyde Park Men's Clothing and a former employee of Dr. Scholl's in Falmouth. Also she was a member of the Pleasant Hill Christian Church, where she was active as a Sunday school teacher, a Bible school teacher and a director of many Christmas plays. Billie was a creative homemaker who shared her gifts and talents of cooking, painting, making crafts, and arranging flowers with her family and friends.  She also loved playing euchre with her late husband and many friends.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents and husband, were sons,  Thomas Edward "Mike" Pribble, Daniel James "Dan" Pribble; and sister, Eva Jean Jones.

Surviving are children,  Karen Lee (Jim) Annunziata, Boca Raton, Fla., Sylvia (Vaden) McClanahan, Falmouth, Gladys (Tony) Smith, Judith Nell Pribble and Tony Pribble, all of Butler;  brother, Rollins Byrd of California; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 24, 2013, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Dr. Mike Schafer officiating. A special remembrance was shared by Judith Pribble.

Serving as pallbearers were Anthony Smith, Bradley Smith, Todd Messmer, George Pribble, Phillip McClanahan and Vincent LaFollette.

Interment took place in the Butler Cemetery, Pendleton County.

Memorials are suggested to the charity of one's choice.

Phyllis Cain, 71 Print E-mail

Phyllis Jean Cain, 71, of Butler passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2013 at Hospice Center St. Elizabeth in Edgewood.

Surviving are son, Kenneth Ray (Roxann) Cain, Brooksville; daughters, Peggy Ann Bowman, Teresa Tracy (Timothy) Wilson, all of Williamstown, Sandra Jean Suer, Alexandria, and Betty Ann Mitchell, Butler.

Funeral services were held Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Goad Funeral Home.

Interment took place at the  Bethlehem Cemetery.
