Helen Louise Chalfant, 85, of Hobe Sound, Fla., passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at her home.
Born in Wolcott, Ind., on August 23, 1927, to the late John and Ella Lohmann Young, she was a registered nurse and a homemaker. She married James Franklin Chalfant, and her dear husband preceded her in death on June 22, 1994. She became a Florida resident in the 1950's, and had been a resident of Hobe Sound since 1999.
Preceding, in addition to her parents and her husband, were brothers, Bob Young, John Young and one sister, Clara Paulson.
Surviving are sisters-in-law, Margaret Chalfant Haley (Jim), Falmouth, Julia Chalfant Lea, Blanchester, Ohio, and Pauline Hyatt Chalfant, Miamisburg, Ohio; niece and caregiver Kim Haley Wolfe (Rick), Colorado Springs, Colo.; niece, Angie Haley Flaugher (Tim), Falmouth; nephews, Robert Paulson (Sharon) of Caledonia, Wis., Jim Young (Chris) of Remington, Ind., and Fred Young (Martha) of Wolcott, Ind.; and many other extended family members and friends.
Funeral service were held Saturday, October 27, 2012, at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth with Wayne Keith officiating.
Special music was shared by Adarin Williams.
Serving as pallbearers were Rick Wolfe, Tim Flaugher, Bryan Wolfe, Lance Wolfe, Justin Flaugher, Robert Paulson, Jim Young, and Fred Young. The honorary pallbearers were Jim Haley and Bill Courtney.
Interment took place in the Riverside Cemetery, Falmouth.

Charles Ray Butler, 63, of Morgan, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Health Care in Florence.
Born in Harrison County, on June 27, 1949, to the late William Oscar and Olive Jane Varner Butler, he was a retired farmer and a member of the Gumlick Baptist Church. Charles attended the Morgan Christian Church, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were brothers, James Norman Butler, Harry Butler, and William “Buddy” Butler and sister, Fannie Elizabeth Jones.
Surviving are sisters, Dorothy Cooper, Bellevue, Joyce Jones, and Ivy Jones, Falmouth, Carrie Sharpe, Jacksonville, Fla. and Mary Ann Walthers, Williamstown; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth with funeral services to be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2012, with Bro. David Wu and Bro. Steve Alford officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be his nephews.
Interment will take place at the Morgan Cemetery.

Corina May “Dolly” Wallace, 61, of Falmouth, passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the Jonesville Rest Home in Jonesville, KY.
Surviving are a brother, Gary (June) Wallace, Butler; and sisters, Kathryn Daugherty, Falmouth and Dorothy Wallace, Butler.

Jimmy Edward Buchanan, 56, of Dayton passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the Drake Medical Center in Cincinnati.
He was born in Knox County on December 13, 1955.
Preceding him in death were father, Lee Rose Buchanan; wife, Judith Buchanan; son, Phillip Buchanan; and brothers, Bill, Russell, and Chuck Buchanan.

Mary Ann Hurst, 77, of Falmouth passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Ft. Thomas.
She was born in Highland Heights on May 5, 1935 to the late Norman and Margrett Shenot Henry.
Preceding her in death were, in addition to her parents, son, Benny Hurst Jr.
Surviving are sons, Danny, Bill, and Harry Hurst; daughter, Tammy Collins; granddaughter, Brandi Jo Hurst; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Peoples Funeral Home, Butler.
Interment took place at the Butler Cemetery, Butler.
