|Historical Society meets June 21|
The June meeting of Pendleton County’s Historical Society is at 11 a.m., June 21 at the Fryer House Museum.
After the business meeting, Author and Historian Bill Baker will tell us about his new Book on CD “Bracken County, Kentucky Cemeteries and Burial Sites 1796-1999.” The cost of the CD’s are $30 plus $2 shipping and handling.
Every member is encouraged to bring a new member to this meeting. Members form strong building blocks for a stable organization. Membership applications are available on our web site for new members and renewals. Memberships are January-December. If you join late in the year, you’ll be given newsletters published since the beginning of January.
Good things continue to happen at our Historic Headquarters Building. Plan to attend and share your own historic interest with us. Some folks are interested in cemeteries, others are interested in family histories and still more are interested in written documents and photographs. Bring your personal interest and share with members.
Regular meetings are 11 a.m. the third Saturday of every month at the Fryer House.
Fryer House is located on the northeast corner at the intersection of KY 177 and U.S. 27 in Butler, across from Northern Elementary. Plenty of free parking is available.
