|"The Sound of Music" at PCHS|
Pendleton County High School will present "The Sound of Music" on Thursday, May 8 - Saturday, May 10.
Based on the real life of Maria Rainer, "The Sound of Music" tells the story of a former nun who leaves the convent to become a governess for the seven children of a wealthy, Austrian widower. As a former officer of the Navy, Captain Von Trapp has grown into a cold disciplinarian. Soon, Maria opens the children to the wonders of life and the joy of music - and eventually softens the heart of their father and gains his love.
All performances will be in the high school auditorium and will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students and children.
Please come and support the artistic endeavors of some of Pendleton County’s finest young actors and actresses.
