Charles Bernard Gallagher, 86

Charles Bernard Gallagher, 86, of Villa Hills, Ky., formerly of Pendleton County, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Madonna Manor, Villa Hills.

He was born in DeMossville on December 19, 1927 to the late William and Mary Cecelia Cahill Gallagher. Charles was a foreman with Square D Company in Florence for 26 years, a farmer, a U.S. Army Veteran, a member of the Hardin-Browning Post #109 and a member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Falmouth. On October 27, 1951 he married his dear wife Frances Lorraine Delaney Gallagher.

Surviving are wife of 62 years, Lorraine; children, Margaret Ann (Bob) Berres of Cincinnati, Mary Jo (Bill) Jacob of Louisville, Jane Elizabeth (Ed) Dressman of Edgewood, Terry Charles Gallagher of DeMossville and Amy Frances Richardson of Clarksville Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10-11:45 a.m., Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth with Mass of Christian Burial following at 12 p.m., at the St,. Francis Xavier Church, Falmouth, with Rev. John Riesenburg officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Jacob, Chase Dressman, Drew Dressman, T.J. Gallagher, Pat McClafferty and Brent Moore. Special music will be shared by the St, Francis Xavier Choir.

Interment will take place at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Falmouth, with full military honors by the Hardin-Browning Post #109.
