Falmouth Rotary fundraiser Print E-mail

This unique wooden flag made from tobacco sticks is just one item to bid on in the silent auction.

Spaghetti dinner, silent auction, purse sale - April 25

Each year in April the Falmouth Rotary Club sponsors a fundraiser for the scholarships they give Pendleton County High School seniors to help with their college expenses. All proceeds go toward that scholarship fund.

This year’s date is 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 25, at the St. Frances Xavier Hall behind the church on Second Street in Falmouth. There will be a spaghetti dinner. The price is $5 for adults and $3 for children.  “Purses for a Purpose” will be offered for sale.

You may also bid on silent auction items that include Reds tickets, NASCAR racing tickets, a tobacco-stick basket, tobacco-stick American flag, country hams, and many other nice items.

This community is fortunate to have organizations that work hard for the students. It is important to attend fundraisers and help the local organizations. If you cannot stop to eat, take out will be available.
