PCHS announces 2014 local scholarship program Print E-mail

Pendleton County High School announces the local scholarship program for any eligible senior in the Class of 2014.  Scholarship applications will be available online beginning February 25, 2014 on the Pendleton County High School webpage under the Counseling Department link.  Scholarship CD’s will also be available for checkout in the Counseling Office for those seniors without online access.

Seniors may go online and access applications at their convenience.

Mrs. Carrie Wade met with all seniors this past week to provide information relative to the local scholarship release.  Seniors were provided a listing of available scholarships along with a brief statement of criteria to aid in planning as well as a handout of “Tips and Reminders” to assist in completing and organizing scholarship application information.

Thanks to the hard work and generosity of the many community organizations and individuals who sponsor the various scholarships, the local scholarship program is well established at Pendleton County High School.  These resources provide funds to assist and support graduating seniors in taking their first step in their education beyond high school.

Scholarship recipients will be announced and recognized at the annual Pendleton County High School Senior Scholarship and Awards Night - date TBD.

The deadline for return of completed local scholarships and supporting documents to the PCHS Counseling Office is 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25.  No late applications will be accepted - NO EXCEPTIONS.
