Winter weather changes basketball schedules

Since the kickoff of the basketball season that had the Ladycats missing their second game of the season, the PCHS basketball schedules have seen changes, alterations, more changes and more rescheduling of games.

Over the last two weeks, some games have been added.  junior varsity games will start at 6 p.m. and varsity games at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

The Wildcats start a tough three games in three days stretch by hosting Montgomery County on Wednesday, February 12, St. Patrick on Thursday, February 13 and traveling to Campbell County on Friday, February 14.

The Ladycats host Silver Grove at 6 p.m in a varsity only game on Thursday, February 13 and head to Estill County on Saturday, February 15.

The Wildcats and Ladycats are busy the last week of the season heading into hosting the 38th District Tournament starting Monday, February 24.

The Ladycats play three games that last week starting with St. Patrick in a varsity only game at 6 p.m. in Maysville, at Cooper on Tuesday, February 18 and finish at home on Friday, February 22 versus Lloyd.

The Wildcats travel to Bourbon County on Monday, February 17 and then finish the season with a home match versus Paris on Thursday, February 20.

“Of course, all of this is subject to changes based on weather as we have found out for most of this season,”  Athletic Director Keith Smith pointed out.

He continued, “But we need the Pendleton County faithful to come out and support the Ladycats and Wildcats over the last few weeks of the season and help these young athletes make their to the postseason.”
