Elizabeth Faye "Betty" Baumgartner Chapman, 88

Elizabeth Faye “Betty” Baumgartner Chapman, 88, of Falmouth passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at the St. Elizabeth Health Care in Ft. Thomas.

She was born in Pendleton County on November 26, 1925 to the late Henry and Daisy Cox Baumgartner. Betty was a graduate of Morgan High School, worked as an administrative assistant for the R. L. Polk Company in Cincinnati, and a member of the Falmouth Baptist Church. She married John Clinton Chapman Jr. on October 11, 1947,  and her dear husband of 54 years preceded her in death on June 17, 2002.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband and parents, were brother, Raymond “Ray” Arnold Baumgartner and sister, Ruth Kliebecker.

Surviving are sister, Ann Baumgartner, with whom she lived, of Falmouth; sister-in-law, Thelma Baumgartner, Falmouth; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Woodhead Funeral Home, Falmouth, with Rev. Cohen Copley officiating.

Serving as pallbearers were Jeff Baumgartner, Caleb Baumgartner, Shane Hammons, Randy Bastin, Kenny Roberts and Larry Vanlandingham.

Interment took place at the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Falmouth.
