Falmouth man sentenced under Kentucky’s fetal homicide law

By Jim Hannah, Kentucky Enquirer

The first person prosecuted in Boone, Campbell and Kenton counties under Kentucky’s 9-year-old fetal homicide law learned his fate Wednesday.

Charles Luke, 30, of Falmouth, was sentenced to 17 years in prison after pleading guilty in Campbell Circuit Court to fetal homicide, wanton endangerment and drunken driving. He will receive credit for the four years he spent in jail waiting for his case to be adjudicated.
