Ame Vanorio, owner/operator, says this is a “natural extension” for the farm. Ame has been teaching onsite classes, community education programs and presenting at national conferences about sustainability for over 20 years. “Online classes are a way to bring people together who are otherwise unable to attend. Our uncertain economy is such that people feel a real need to be more self-sufficient and independent. Our classes help people do that in a supportive, positive atmosphere.”

At Fox Run Produce and Education Center we strive to maintain harmony with our environment in all things we do and are completely off grid. We use sustainable organic farming methods, treating our land like a living organism and raising livestock naturally. Education is the cornerstone of our business. As well as offering classes we host interns, offer weekend intensives, and work with local high schools and colleges to promote agricultural and environmental programs.
