The Pendleton County Wildcats began their first-ever season in a new sport this past week: bowling.

The addition of a new sport has many people excited, including Superintendent Anthony Strong.  “It is always an exciting time when you see students get involved in activities. I was pleased to be able to recommend to the board that we start this program for Pendleton County Schools.  This is not only allowing our school to add a sport, but it is involving students that have not typically been involved in fall sports.  This is a new and exciting time for our and athletes.”
