A dream that had been over a half century in the making became a reality on March 24 for 1961 Pendleton County alum and standout basketball star Dickie King.

Chris Gentry, vice director, District 4 of the Kentucky Motorcycle Association (KMA/KBA) presented a request to Judge/Executive David Fields and the magistrates to place “Share the Road” signs on the highways to encourage motorcycle awareness in Pendleton County.

Attorney General Jack Conway today announced the indictment and arrest of Mark Lane Posey, Former Chief of Police in Falmouth, Ky following an investigation by Attorney General Conway’s Department of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

This fall, a familar face will be be patrolling the sidelines and guiding the Wildcats football program. On March 9, Brian Burgemeir was officially named head coach after spending the last two seasons as the teams offensive coordinator.

Werner Coppel, a Holocaust survivor from Cincinnati, Ohio, was invited to speak at Phillip Sharp Middle School by Mark Hart as part of a Language Arts unit in Ms. Eileen Tierney Baker’s class titled, “Finding the Light in the Darkness.”  Coppel began his story with these words.
