|Mackenzie Moore plays in KHSAA State|
Mackenzie Moore’s putt slides just past the hole in the first round of the KHSAA State Girls Golf Tournament at Bowling Green Country Club. The sophomore became just the third Ladycat golfer to break 100 on the tree-lined, deep Bermuda rough course.
Sophomore Mackenzie Moore became the ninth Ladycat golfer to play in the KHSAA State Golf tournament over the past seven seasons when she teed it up over fall break at Bowling Green Country Club.
“Playing in my first state tournament was very fun and also a learning experience,” she commented. “Every hole challenged your game a different way and that’s what golf is really about.”
