|Russell Warman sponsored for Honor Flight|
Owen Electric Cooperative and Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives will for the third year join with the Bluegrass Chapter of the Honor Flight Network on Saturday, September 21 to sponsor an Honor Flight for veterans from Kentucky who served during World War II or the Korean War.
Owen Electric and Kentucky’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives will pay to fly about 25 vets from Louisville to Washington, D.C. The veterans will visit the World War II Memorial, the Iwo Jima Monument and the Korean War Veterans Memorial. They will return to Louisville that evening. While in Washington, they will be transported around the city on chartered buses.
