Military services held for Turner Print E-mail

American Legion Post 109 and V.F.W. Post 1978 and D.A.V. Post members held full military services for Mr. Hershel Lee Turner at Battle Grove Cemetery, Cynthiana on September 1, 2013.

Mr. Turner served in the United States Air Force in WWII. He was a Lieutenant Colonel and a prisoner of war for 23 months.

To Mr. Hershel Lee Turner we honor and salute you.

To the family we offer sympathy.

Post members present were Bruce Westbrook, Ken Wrobleski, Donald Steele, Jim Sharp, Charles Biddle, Baxter Courts, Phil Hedges, Bob Gulick, Larry Fields, Sam Hodge, Joe Klar, Ronnie Bay, Don Wells, Jim Hammond, Richard Colvin and Shelby McDowell.

Taps was played by Sam Hodge.
