The Pendleton County Department of Emergency Management conducted an AMTRAK passenger train derailment training exercise from 9 a.m. until noon, August 10 at Carmeuse Lime and Stone near the Ohio River. The training exercise took place on a sidetrack of the CSX Railroad on property owned by Carmeuse.
