Beshear asked again to let General Assembly deal with the Bluegrass Pipeline issues

Kentuckians concerned about the impact of the proposed Bluegrass Pipeline have delivered more than 900 additional signatures on a petition to Gov. Beshear.

The petition asks the governor to allow the General Assembly to deal with two pipeline issues – the lack of clarity on whether a private company can use eminent domain to condemn land for easements when there is no public use, and to give a state agency oversight of the public health and safety aspects of a natural gas liquids pipeline.
