|Beshear asked again to let General Assembly deal with the Bluegrass Pipeline issues|
Kentuckians concerned about the impact of the proposed Bluegrass Pipeline have delivered more than 900 additional signatures on a petition to Gov. Beshear.
The petition asks the governor to allow the General Assembly to deal with two pipeline issues – the lack of clarity on whether a private company can use eminent domain to condemn land for easements when there is no public use, and to give a state agency oversight of the public health and safety aspects of a natural gas liquids pipeline.
