PCEF Golf Scramble Print E-mail

The Pendleton County Education Foundation will have its 19th annual golf scramble at Pendleton Country Club on Tuesday, August 6. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and golf will begin at 9 a.m.

Piles Chevrolet, Olds, Buick Inc. of Williamstown will again sponsor a hole in one contest. Local businesses or individuals will sponsor contests for men's longest drive, women's longest drive, longest made putt and three closest to the pin. In addition, the top three scoring teams will receive prize money of $400, $300 and $200.

PCEF is a private, non-profit organization whose main purpose is to provide scholarships to graduating Pendleton County seniors. PCEF also helps fund the character education programs of the four county schools and special events such as Rachel's Challenge from last school year.

The golf scramble is PCEF's only fundraiser so your support of this event is important and greatly appreciated. Cost of the scramble is $60 per player. For further details you may call Dennis Seever at 654-6011.
