It's time to talk about heroin Print E-mail

Drug addiction continues to be a major concern for society and the concern grows with every passing year. Drug and alcohol addiction ruins the lives of those most closely affected, but society at large suffers from addiction's rippling effects.

Heroin's rippling effect is being felt in many communities and ours is not exempt!

In an effort to bring that effect to the front line, Pendleton County Champion's Coalition and Pendleton County Fiscal Court will be hosting a community forum to address heroin from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Thursday, July 18 in the auditorium of Pendleton County High School.

Prevention, harm reduction, intervention, treatment, recovery, family assets, Naloxone, Casey's Law, where to go and who to turn to will be discussed.

The public is invited and encouraged to attend. Come, ask and learn!

If you have information in regards to heroin or other illegal activities, please notify the Pendleton County anonymous tip line at www.pendletonsherifftipline.ky.gov
