|Historical 4th of July Parade|
The Falmouth Fourth of July Parade will take place on Thursday, July 4th. The theme this year is "Historical 4th."
There will be a change in route! The parade will line up and pull out of East Shelby and Main streets by Falmouth City Hall promptly at 4 p.m. in historic downtown. It will proceed up Shelby Street, cross the railroad tracks, proceed out to the stoplight at BB's, turn left onto US 27 South, turn left at the caution light by Southern Elementary and end at the Veteran's Park on Woodson and Rigg streets.
All churches, civic organizations, clubs, and parade enthusiasts are encouraged to participate. Decorate those bikes and trucks, get those wagons dressed up as prize money will be awarded for the following categories: floats, small motor vehicles (IE four-wheelers/quads, cars/trucks (includes antiques), walkers/bicycles, horses/pets. Participants are encouraged to dress up as their favorite historical character! All participants need to be in line for judging at 3:30 p.m. There is no entry fee.

Remember that fireworks will be displayed at Southern Elementary at dusk later in the evening. The fair board will stop taking gate money at 8:30 p.m. for those attending the fireworks. If you go early, you will have to pay admission.
