|P.C. Library to hold Tech Tuesdays|
Have a computer and don’t know what to do with it? Would you like to learn how to navigate the internet or set up and use an email account? Still trying to figure out how to use that new e-reader or smartphone? How about those social media sites everyone’s talking about, like Facebook, Twitter, Craigslist, and more? Know a little but would like to know more? Then the Tech Tuesdays at the library is just the thing you need!
Every month the Pendleton County Public Library will offer morning, afternoon, and evening technology information sessions where you can schedule one-on-one help with a librarian. The Pendleton County One Stop Career Center will also be joining Tech Tuesdays at the library on the fourth Tuesday of every month, offering one-on-one resume help sessions. Sessions last 30 minutes, but you can schedule back-to-back sessions if you think you’ll need more time. Sessions must be scheduled at least one week in advance. Sessions include Computer Basics, Email Basics, Internet Basics, Microsoft Word, eBooks, Social Media 101, Your Mobile Device and Resume Builder.
Visit the library at 801 Robbins Avenue to schedule a session, or give us a call at 859-654-8535 for more information. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. - 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
